BEAUTY AND STREGTH

A soon to be released collection of images celebrating the beauty and strength of tribal women across Africa. 

Overwhelmed by the reckless beauty, the early years were captured in vivid color. As the world changed rapidly with technology,  l turned towards a sophisticated monochromatic style retracing my footsteps to create images with a powerful glimpse into the raw and wild lands I first explored. 

ARID LANDS

Some of the Turkana tribe lives in one of the harshest environments across Africa. The women are striking and are as tough as they look. When I first traveled up to Northern Kenya many years ago, I knew only of their fierce reputation and was not sure how the first meeting would play out; even though I had been roaming the remote wild African tribal regions for many years.
