It was chilly and dark as I climbed into the Land Cruiser well before sunrise. The striking Arbore tribe lives in a barren hot place below the foothills, where it is too hot to pitch a tent even for a few days. The drive to their village was about two hours from where I was staying and gave me plenty of time to nap. I arrived as the day was breaking to a sky filled with clouds and the wind was blowing softly. The scene of the beautiful women walking through the serenity of the landscape was breathtaking.
