It is only lions of all the cat families that live in prides. The females share all the responsibilities of motherhood. Together as a sisterhood, they share the responsibilities of watching the cubs, training the cubs, protecting the cubs, and hunting. They move through harsh landscapes and navigate forage, water and survival together. In their own right, they rule the plains of Africa.
