Cloudy, wet, raining, slipping and sliding in the mud I decided to give up on my morning safari and head back to camp. As I came close to camp in the open plains was a large tower of Maasai giraffes. One of my favorite animals to photograph and one of the iconic animals of Africa. Their behavior captivated me for almost an hour. One never knows the treasures one will find when they are not even looking.
